Established in 1988, Up Select Electronics Co., Ltd. is an ISO 9001 certified Uninterruptible Power Supply manufacturer. The funder is an experienced engineer who has been involved in the U.P.S. field for over a decade when the company was initiated. Beginning from the production of Off-Line UPS ranging from 300VA to 1500VA, Up Select is now capable of manufacturing Microprocessor Controlled High-Frequency On-Line UPS ranging from 1KVA to 10KVA. Three phase UPS ranging from 10KVA to 1000KVA.

The history of product development started with Slim Type 300VA to 1500VA Off-Line UPS in 1988. In response to an international economic recession, we launched an economical style Mini Tower UPS ranging from 400VA to 750VA, which is the first smart UPS in Taiwan that indicates 5 states in 3 colors with a single LED and without a power switch. In 1994, we introduced German technology and developed the first Microprocessor Controlled High-Frequency On-Line UPS in Taiwan, ranging from 1KVA to 10KVA. In 1998, we released an economical model – GreenWave Line Interactive UPS 500VA-2000VA. A joint R&D effort involving other Taiwanese manufactures in 2006 improved the efficiency and reduced the size of the Single-Phase On-Line UPS and rolled out the Three-Phase UPS ranging from 10KVA to 1000KVA. In 2020, we further improved the Single-Phase On-Line UPS 6KVA & 10KVA and achieved 1-to-1 output power factor.

We started the sample production of ON-LINE UPS in 1994. From sample production to mass production, our ON-LINE UPS have earned the confidence of our customers for their robustness, quality, competitive pricing, and unique features. In addition to UPS, we also provide UPS software to our customers.

At the moment, we have six local distributing points throughout Taiwan. To expand overseas business, we established a Singapore office, Up Select Electronics (S) P/L, in March 1993; a joint-venture company with the largest computer company in Hungary to supply the European market, Up Select Hungary Ltd. Co., in October 1994; a Brazil office, Up Select South America Ltd., in August 1997; production lines in China for GreenWave Line Interactive UPS in 1998; a branch office Up Select Vietnam CO. Ltd. in May 2004. In addition, we were awarded the ISO 9002 quality certification in August of 1995 and the ISO 9001 certification in 1999. We have a well-planned system to ensure our promise of quality, which will assure our customers of the best service on product quality, timely delivery, and services after-sales.

Along with our good track record on sales and service despite stiff competition, our ultimate goal is to provide customers the guaranteed security from power blackouts, sags, surges, and other dangerous power disruptions with high-quality products and affordable prices.
